Description[]

Coming to you from the mind of Casey Oraa and the pen of illustrator Winters, Champ is a brand new graphic novel that deals with the challenges of modern life and the intersections of identity. Gritty at times and heartfelt at others, Champ aims to tell intriguing, queer stories that will engage and entertain the reader.

When we first meet Paul “Champ” Hurd in Issue #1, he’s a privileged family man with a side of himself that he’s doing his best to conceal. Join along through Champ’s journey as he learns more about himself and the world around him. As his world opens up, so does the reader’s and as Series 1 moves along, we come to meet more of the diverse characters that inhabit the Champ universe.

Self-published, Champ is available digitally through Etsy. A small, zine-style print run is being sold through select vendors and is currently on sale at Silver Snail (Toronto) The Beguiling (Toronto) and Glad Day Bookshop (Toronto)
